~ ~ Double Your Dollars for 1978 ~ ~ $300,000 Challenge for the 30th
We are very excited to announce “The Class of 1978 Thirtieth Reunion Challenge Fund” that will match all gifts made by a member of the Class of 1978 whether it’s your first gift for the 30th or an additional gift 1:1, dollar for dollar. A Challenge Fund pool of $300,000 has been established by 5 classmates to help boost Annual Giving dollars and participation for 1978, and encourage strong attendance at Reunion. Any and all gifts are eligible but they must be received by the end of Reunion weekend on June 1. For example, a gift of $500 will be matched with $500 from the Challenge for a total gift to the campaign of $1,000! A donation of $2,500 will be matched by $2,500 from the Challenge for a total of $5,000 to the campaign. Because there is no cap on the amount that can be matched some classmates are considering gifts of $10,000 or more.
The Thirtieth Reunion Challenge will be earned on a first come, first served basis (up to an aggregate of $300,000) but gifts must be received by June 1, so time is of the essence. If you have already given, please consider giving more. If this is your first gift to the 30th, please think carefully about how generous you can be. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to do our collective best for 1978 and Princeton.
